EXISTING DESIGNS & CUSTOM MOULDS

A custom look can start with an existing bottle.

Build on an existing design

An existing shape may give your brand the look it needs through decoration and a matching closure. You can compare real bottles before deciding whether a new mould adds value.

  • Bottle and jar designs to compare
  • Decoration and closure options for the selected shape
  • Production availability and MOQ quoted per design

Make the shape your own

When the silhouette is central to your product, a custom mould makes the shape part of your identity. Your capacity, bottle finish and artwork belong in the design from the start.

THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

The bottle is only part of your package.

A distinctive shape, a considered finish and a well-matched closure give your packaging a coherent identity.

01

Bottle design & moulds

Your silhouette gives the product its first impression. Capacity, glass weight and neck finish turn that idea into a bottle that can be developed for production.

Existing mould or new shape: the choice starts with your design brief.

02

Colour & decoration

Frosting, colour spraying, screen printing, decals and hot stamping bring your artwork onto glass. Our own decorating operation is in Shandong.

A decorated sample makes colour and artwork placement tangible.

03

Closures & packaging

The lid, liner, pump or sprayer needs to work with the selected bottle. Your filled and assembled sample is the reference for evaluating the complete package.

Closure requirements belong in the brief before tooling approval.

PRODUCTION & SUPPLY

Glass manufacturing in Shandong and Xuzhou.

MAIDAO GLASS is the glass packaging brand of MAIDAO INDUSTRY, established in 2005. Our manufacturing network brings together 14 production lines across 2 production areas in China.

Xuzhou is our own plant. Shandong combines our own, invested and long-term contracted capacity, with our own decorating operation for your finishing requirements.

INSPECTION & DOCUMENTS

Inspection starts at the sealing surface.

The finish matters as much as the shape. Bottle mouths and sealing surfaces receive 100% checks in both production areas. Shandong uses machine inspection with manual rechecks; Xuzhou uses manual inspection and audit samples every 2 hours.

Capacity checks are routine. A residual-stress report can accompany your order on request. The inspection scope and your assembled-package trials answer different questions.

SAMPLES & APPROVAL

Get to know your bottle before the production run.

A sample makes the weight, proportions and finish tangible. Different sample types answer different questions about your package.

Existing glass sample

An existing bottle lets you assess its size, weight and handling. A matched closure lets you take the assembled package into your own filling and sealing trials.

Custom shape sample

An acrylic prototype helps you judge the silhouette and proportions. Glass from a sample mould is needed to evaluate the actual glass container.

Decorated sample

Colour and artwork can look different on glass than on a screen. A decorated sample gives you a physical reference for the finish you approve.

03 / YOUR PACKAGING PROJECT

From your design brief to a production-ready specification.

The shape you approve, the closure you select and the finish you sign off become the reference for your order.

Explore the development process
  1. 01

    Your product brief

Your product, capacity, closure and order quantity give the project its starting point. A reference bottle or sketch makes the intended shape clearer.

  2. 02

    Design and quotation

Existing designs and custom tooling offer different routes. Glass, decoration, packaging and delivery terms establish what your quotation includes.

  3. 03

    Drawings and samples

Drawings record dimensions; samples show the physical result. Your approval brings the shape, finish and closure into one specification.

  4. 04

    Production planning

The selected mould, glass and order quantity shape the production plan. Custom development also includes tooling and sample approval.

  5. 05

    Glass inspection

The agreed specification guides the checks on your glass. Requested reports and third-party inspection arrangements form part of the order brief.

  6. 06

    Packing and shipment

Cartons, dividers and pallets protect and organise the load. Packing details and delivery terms complete the shipment plan.

MOQ, TIMING & DELIVERY

MOQ, production timing and export packing.

Minimum order

An existing design still has an order minimum. Glass grade, bottle design and decoration affect the production run; quantities per design make the quotation meaningful.

Production timing

An existing mould removes the need to develop a new shape. Custom work adds drawing, tooling and sample stages; your schedule needs to allow for approvals as well as production.

Packing & freight

A bottle count alone does not describe a shipment. Bottle weight, carton dimensions, dividers and pallet layout affect loading and handling at your destination.

Sample approval
