MAIDAO GLASS · PROCUREMENT GUIDE
A cap that fits by hand still needs a package check.
Your closure meets the glass at a small but important interface. A matching name or similar diameter gives you a starting point. Drawings and actual package trials answer the questions that appearance cannot.

Request Bottle & Closure Samples
Six checks for your bottle-and-closure match.
| Check | What your team compares | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Finish family | Threaded, lug, crown, stopper or dispensing system | Bottle and closure description |
| Dimensions | The bottle finish against the closure tolerance requirements | Current drawings from both suppliers |
| Sealing system | The surface, liner or stopper against the product and process | Closure material specification and sample |
| Application | How the cap, pump or stopper works on your equipment | A trial with the intended package |
| Decoration clearance | Where coating, label or decoration meets the finish | Decorated physical reference |
| After filling | Opening, sealing and appearance after the actual process | Agreed package-test results |
Your bottle drawing and closure drawing belong together.
The finish family narrows the options, while the actual drawings define the dimensions and tolerances to compare. A threaded cap, stopper and pump do not use the same interface.
Your closure supplier should review its specification against the selected glass finish. A measurement that suits one closure family does not establish compatibility with a different mechanism.

Your sealing surface is only one part of the seal.
MAIDAO checks mouths and sealing surfaces in both production areas. Shandong uses machine inspection with manual rechecks; Xuzhou uses manual inspection and audit samples every 2 hours.
Your liner, stopper material, product and filling process still need assessment as a complete system. The factory inspection of an empty bottle is not a substitute for those package checks.
Your filled package is the relevant approval object.
Your sample trial should represent the bottle, closure and filling conditions you intend to use. If your decoration affects handling or the closure area, your assessment needs the decorated sample.
Your signed record can identify the glass drawing, closure revision, process conditions and test outcome. Any changed component deserves a review of what the previous approval actually covered.
YOUR PURCHASING QUESTIONS
Before you take the next step.
Does matching bottle diameter guarantee a cap fits?
No. Diameter alone does not establish closure compatibility. The finish family, dimensions, sealing system and intended application need to match.
Does a bottle inspection prove the complete package will seal?
No. Mouth and sealing-surface inspection checks the glass. The closure, liner or stopper, product and filling conditions still need the agreed package checks.

A bottle reference, closure and intended use help us review the options that matter to your project.
