INSPECTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Glass inspection by control point and production area.
A closure needs a sound sealing surface. Bottle-mouth inspection and trials with your selected closure serve different purposes; the assembled package also needs evaluation with your product and filling process.
Bottle mouth & sealing surface
Both production areasYour bottle mouth and sealing surface receive 100% checks. Shandong uses machine inspection with manual rechecks. Xuzhou uses manual inspection with an audit sample every 2 hours, 12 times a day.
Capacity
Both production areasCapacity checks are routine in both production areas. The drawing and reference sample give your selected bottle a defined specification for comparison.
Residual stress
Both production areasResidual-stress testing checks the annealed glass. Your order can include the report on request; it is not a standard document with every shipment.
Hot-end & cold-end coating
ShandongSurface protection is part of the Shandong production route. Your selected glass and finish determine the applicable route.

BEFORE PRODUCTION APPROVAL
What your glass inspection can establish.
The bottle drawing and reference sample establish the glass specification. Your selected closure, product and filling process define the assembled-package trials. Your packing plan, sampling levels, tolerances and report requirements belong in the order agreement.
How are glass bottle mouths and sealing surfaces inspected?
Both production areas check 100% of bottle mouths and sealing surfaces. Shandong combines machine inspection with manual rechecks; Xuzhou uses manual inspection with an audit sample every 2 hours.
Does the ISO 9001 certificate cover glass manufacturing?
The certificate held by MAIDAO INDUSTRY CO., LTD states the scope as glass products sales. It is a quality management system certificate for that scope. Product testing and the requirements for your bottle, closure and decoration are reviewed separately.
Does every order include a residual-stress test report?
A residual-stress report can accompany your order on request. Your required report fields, test methods and acceptance criteria should be agreed before production approval.
Does one test report cover every bottle and jar?
Each test report applies to its submitted sample and stated tests. Your product, closure, decoration and destination determine which documents are relevant to the order.
Can I arrange third-party inspection before loading?
Third-party inspection can be arranged before loading. Your inspection body, scope, timing and access requirements are agreed for the selected production route.
