MAIDAO GLASS · PROCUREMENT GUIDE

Your sample approval should survive the next reorder.

Your sample can settle the appearance while leaving closure, filling and packing questions unanswered. A useful approval records which version you checked, what it demonstrated and what is still open.

02

Five records for your glass sample approval.

1 / Product identity

Bottle reference, drawing revision, glass specification and the sample stage.

2 / Closure and filling

Your closure reference, liner or stopper specification and the filling conditions used in the trial.

3 / Appearance

Artwork revision, colour reference, decoration area and the accepted physical sample.

4 / Test outcome

The checks performed, results, acceptance criteria and any unresolved exceptions.

5 / Packing and release

Final dimensions, closure fit within the pack, carton/divider brief and remaining sign-offs.

03

Real glass gives your sample approval a stronger basis.

Glass and acrylic have different material behaviour. Your actual glass sample allows the agreed bottle-and-closure, filling and decoration checks to use the intended material.

MAIDAO uses routine capacity checks in both production areas and can provide a residual-stress report with an order on request. Those factory records and your package trial serve different purposes.

04

Your later changes can reopen sample approval.

Your changed closure, decoration or filling process can affect what an earlier sample trial established. Your approval record helps identify which checks remain relevant.

Your quotation should distinguish the sample work and tooling from the production order. Any repeat development or further sample cost belongs in the agreed project scope.

YOUR PURCHASING QUESTIONS

Before you take the next step.

Can an acrylic prototype replace a glass sample?

No. Acrylic helps you assess the proposed form. Glass and complete-package checks need an appropriate glass sample and agreed test scope.

What should I keep after approving a bottle sample?

Your approval file can retain drawing and artwork revisions, closure references, test records and an identified physical sample. Open items and subsequent changes give your next order a clear reference.

Turn your packaging question into a specific brief.

A bottle reference, closure and intended use help us review the options that matter to your project.
