Olive Oil Bottles, From Shelf Presentation to Pouring

Your oil bottle needs to look right on the shelf and pour cleanly at the table. Square Marasca-style and round Dorica-style profiles offer different label areas and packing footprints. Glass colour, neck finish and pourer choice belong in the same packaging decision.

EXISTING DESIGNS · MOQ, SAMPLES & DELIVERY

Ordering olive oil bottles from the manufacturer.

Your chosen design, finish and packing define the quotation; a new glass body follows the separate custom-development route.

Quantity, components and packing

Your existing-design MOQ depends on the chosen bottle or jar, quantity per size and decoration. Mixed designs can share a container; each design retains its own quoted minimum.

Your quote can use EXW or FOB with a named location. The selected glass, fittings, packing and destination determine your landed-cost comparison.

Samples for your chosen reference

Your sample request identifies the size, fittings and the filling or use conditions to evaluate.

Your available plain stock-glass samples are free; you cover the courier. Decoration, fittings and custom tooling are confirmed separately.

For your planning, existing-design orders use a 15–20 day reference after confirmation and sample approval. Your quotation confirms availability, decoration and the dispatch date.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ORDER

The details that decide whether your olive oil bottles will work.

Glass colour and product presentation

THE PURCHASE DECISION

Dark and clear bottles present your oil differently. Glass colour alone does not establish a shelf-life claim for the finished product.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your product protection needs, display conditions and brand appearance guide the colour choice. Supporting evidence should relate to your oil and storage conditions; the bottle reference provides the geometry and glass option to assess.

The neck, cap and pourer

THE PURCHASE DECISION

A cap that appears to match the bottle may still differ in liner, thread or insert arrangement. The pourer adds another interface.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your existing cap and pourer references help establish the required neck finish. A filled assembled sample lets the team assess controlled pouring, reclosure and handling before the packaging specification is fixed.

Declared contents and usable headspace

THE PURCHASE DECISION

The advertised bottle capacity and intended oil fill are separate details. Shoulder shape can change the visual result at the same fill volume.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your declared contents, desired headspace and filling conditions belong alongside the bottle drawing. The selected sample makes both the fill level and label position visible before commercial artwork is approved.

THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

Fittings and pack details for your olive oil bottles.

Your chosen body and accessories define the assembly to review.

Metal screw caps

The cap profile and liner need to match the chosen neck. Colour and printing can then follow the approved specification.

Plastic closures

A plastic cap may form part of a particular design. Product contact, fit and opening experience need configuration-specific review.

Pourer inserts

Your actual oil belongs in the pouring trial, together with the insert, bottle neck and pouring edge.

Special dispensing systems

A non-refillable or specialist fitment requires its own specification and evidence. Your bottle shape alone cannot establish that feature.

YOUR BRAND ON AN EXISTING DESIGN

Decoration for your selected olive oil bottles.

A Marasca-style face gives a defined front panel, while a Dorica-style body supports a wrapping label. Your label dimensions and applicator need the actual bottle profile. Cap colour, restrained printing or coating can complete the brand without obscuring the shape.

WHEN THE SHAPE NEEDS TO CHANGE

Custom olive oil bottles development.

Your existing olive-oil bottle can combine a named glass colour, closure and artwork. A proprietary shoulder, grip or footprint adds a new mould route. Your neck and pourer specifications develop with the body shape.

INSPECTION & DOCUMENTS

Inspection and evidence for your olive oil bottles.

The bottle-mouth inspection covers the glass surface. Your cap, liner and pourer still need evaluation with the selected oil and distribution conditions. The glass reference supplies no universal shelf-life or dispensing approval.

Mouth and sealing surface

100% checks in both production areas. Our quality overview explains the inspection method used in each production area.

Capacity and reports

Your requested reports need the quoted glass, fittings, decoration and stated test scope.

PURCHASING QUESTIONS

Before you order olive oil bottles.

What is the difference between Marasca and Dorica bottles?

Marasca-style bottles use a square profile; Dorica-style bottles use a round profile. The practical choice also depends on your label, filling line and packing footprint.

Can you match our current oil cap and pourer?

Your cap, insert and neck-finish references provide the basis for comparison. The full assembled sample remains important for assessing the pour and seal.

Does dark glass guarantee longer shelf life?

No shelf-life guarantee follows from colour alone. Your oil, closure, storage conditions and supporting testing establish the finished product claim.

Do you manufacture olive oil bottles in China?

Yes. Your supplier is MAIDAO GLASS, the glass-packaging brand of MAIDAO INDUSTRY CO., LTD, established in 2005. Production relationships and inspection records are available through our quality overview.
