Mason Jars for Preserves, Serving and Gifting

Your mason jar can become a preserve pack, drinking jar or gift container. Each use changes the opening, lid and packing you want to compare. You can start with an existing shape, trial the complete assembly and price decoration without commissioning a new glass body.

EXISTING DESIGNS · MOQ, SAMPLES & DELIVERY

Ordering mason jars from the manufacturer.

Your chosen design, finish and packing define the quotation; a new glass body follows the separate custom-development route.

Quantity, components and packing

Your existing-design MOQ depends on the chosen bottle or jar, quantity per size and decoration. Mixed designs can share a container; each design retains its own quoted minimum.

Your quote can use EXW or FOB with a named location. The selected glass, fittings, packing and destination determine your landed-cost comparison.

Samples for your chosen reference

Your sample request identifies the size, fittings and the filling or use conditions to evaluate.

Your available plain stock-glass samples are free; you cover the courier. Decoration, fittings and custom tooling are confirmed separately.

For your planning, existing-design orders use a 15–20 day reference after confirmation and sample approval. Your quotation confirms availability, decoration and the dispatch date.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ORDER

The details that decide whether your mason jars will work.

Canning jar or drinking jar

THE PURCHASE DECISION

The familiar mason appearance covers several uses. A handled drinking jar should not be assumed to perform like a container validated for a preserving process.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your intended use needs to accompany the product reference. The jar, closure and processing conditions should be evaluated together before making canning, hot-drink or reuse claims.

The opening and the lid system

THE PURCHASE DECISION

A straw lid and a preserving closure perform different jobs. A visual resemblance between threads does not prove that an existing lid will fit.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your lid reference and the selected neck-finish specification establish the pairing to assess. Opening width also affects filling and serving access, so the intended use belongs in the choice.

A handle changes the pack

THE PURCHASE DECISION

A handle affects grip, outside dimensions and protective packing. It also creates a different contact point when jars travel together.

THE BASIS FOR APPROVAL

Your sample review should include filled handling and the proposed carton arrangement. The overall width, including the handle, is part of the shipping and shelf specification.

THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

Fittings and pack details for your mason jars.

Your chosen body and accessories define the assembly to review.

Preserving lid system

The selected jar and lid need evidence for your preserving process. The mason-style name alone does not provide that evidence.

Straw lids

The hole and straw fitment change the use. Straw size, cleaning expectations and any transport cover need review.

Solid screw lids

A solid lid offers another serving or retail option. Its fit and liner should correspond to the chosen jar finish.

Dispenser components

Where a design uses a tap or spigot, the fitting, seal and cleaning requirements form part of the assembled product.

YOUR BRAND ON AN EXISTING DESIGN

Decoration for your selected mason jars.

Your label, printed lid or glass decoration can give an existing jar a distinct identity. A finished sample lets you judge the artwork, closure and contents together.

WHEN THE SHAPE NEEDS TO CHANGE

Custom mason jars development.

An existing mason-style body may already meet your capacity and presentation brief. New tooling is relevant when your opening, footprint or embossed feature needs to change. Your lid and packing requirements remain part of that decision.

INSPECTION & DOCUMENTS

Inspection and evidence for your mason jars.

Your intended filling process, closure and handling determine the evidence for the complete jar. A familiar mason-style appearance alone does not establish canning or thermal-use suitability.

Mouth and sealing surface

100% checks in both production areas. Our quality overview explains the inspection method used in each production area.

Capacity and reports

Your requested reports need the quoted glass, fittings, decoration and stated test scope.

PURCHASING QUESTIONS

Before you order mason jars.

Is every mason jar suitable for canning?

No. Mason-style appearance includes drinking and decorative designs. Canning suitability must be established for the particular jar, closure and preserving process.

Can I match an existing mason lid?

The selected finish needs comparison with the lid specification. The jar capacity or the term regular-mouth does not replace a dimensional match.

Do handled jars need different cartons?

The handle contributes to overall width and may require separation from adjacent glass. The actual design and packing method determine the carton arrangement.

Do you manufacture mason jars in China?

Yes. Your supplier is MAIDAO GLASS, the glass-packaging brand of MAIDAO INDUSTRY CO., LTD, established in 2005. Production relationships and inspection records are available through our quality overview.
